I do a postpartum home visit usually one or two weeks after the birth. I love to have the opportunity to come and see your beautiful new blessing. I also like to take time to help you process your birth experience. This is also a great chance for me to see how your transition home is going, and make sure everyone is adjusting well.

New babies are definitely blessings to a family. But along with your new bundle of joy often comes sleep deprivation, crying and other stresses. In the Happiest Baby Class new and expectant parents will learn step by step how to soothe their fussy baby in minutes. The class is based on the approach by pediatrician Dr. Harvey Karp's best selling book and dvd "The Happiest Baby on the Block".

Topics covered include:

  • The Missing 4th Trimester
  • The Calming Reflex
  • The 5 S's
  • What Is Colic

    • Cost: $40 per couple

    All participants receive the Parent Kit which includes a Happiest Baby on the Block DVD and Soothing Sounds CD. ($40 retail value) The 2 hour class is available in a group or private setting. Babies 0-3 months are welcome and encouraged to attend with parents.
